Captain Kris Bako has been fishing the waters off of Montauk for 23 years. \He first started out as a mate working on local boats such as the HALFBACK, ALYSSA ANN,and DAYBREAKER. His career on the water has taken him from New Hampshire, fishing for giant tuna on Jeffreys Ledge to Miami Beach for sailfish.. Kris also spent several seasons working on private tournament boats, placing in several top ten finishes. However, his number one passion is fishing our northern canyons, where he has clocked countless hours trolling from Atlantis to the Dip.
